Oliver Twist

In Charles Dickens's classic tale of hardship, Oliver Twist is an orphan trying to make his way in the world. After giving birth, his mother dies, leaving young Oliver to be raised in a workhouse and then be forced to join a band of thieves. As a reluctant criminal, Oliver makes several friends who help him find the truth of his past. A life of poverty, hard work, and redemption is retold in the Calico Illustrated Classics adaptation of Dickens's Oliver Twist.
